What is SELPHYL PRFM?

SELPHYL PRFM, a brand new offering at DYnaSkin MedSpa, contains a concentration of your own platelets and fibrin, derived from your blood. This matrix releases growth factors over time to stimulate collagen production and repair damaged tissues, providing a more natural approach to reducing wrinkles, enhancing volume, and improving skin texture.

How is SELPHYL PRFM different from platelet-rich plasma (PRP)?

PRFM and PRP share many similarities, but a few key differences make the former more effective for prolonged collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation.

With PRFM, you get a more natural, longer-lasting release of growth factors. SELPHYL PRFM platelets last up to seven days, several days longer than PRP. This is because PRFM forms a fibrin matrix — a gel-like substance — that holds and releases platelets gradually.
